2018 Honda Jazz  Interior, Specs Release and Price - The ongoing Honda Jazz was released back in 2013, and since then it became a favorite among enthusiasts. However, the car is not perfect, and like all other vehicles, it has its flaws. It is far too expensive, and there are some missing features on the higher-end models which will likely be addressed.

2018 Honda Jazz  Future

The car is set to receive a mid-life facelift with the 2018 Honda Jazz. Even though the model is still some time away from release, it has been revealed in Japan.So far Honda has been quite restrained when it comes to the details but the car seems to be better looking and better equipped, and it might feature more engines than before. New safety features might also be added which would definitely make it a better deal than before.

The 2018 Honda Jazz seems to feature a slightly improved interior over its predecessor. While the changes are less visible than on the outside, they do exist. For starters, it seems that the car will come with more upholstery options. These have only been confirmed for the Japanese market with a new two-tone color scheme with the seat’s bolsters being covered in leather while the rest has been covered in suede. While not clearly visible, it seems the infotainment system will be changed with Honda’s new revision. This will offer a physical volume knob as well as a slightly higher resolution screen. These alone should improve the user experience by a considerable margin.

The car looks like a small MPV being quite tall for its size. However, this also means great interior space so no complaints there. The 2018 version does bring a few new design cues into the mix, most of them taken straight out of the new Civic. In the front, the car retains most of the old design lines, but the accents make it seem considerably more aggressive than before. There is a new blacked out bar running right across the front between the two fog lamps while the grille has been extended with a longer lower diffuser which gives it a much meaner look than otherwise. In the back, it seems Honda installed a larger roof spoiler as well as new LED inserts for its tail lights. The headlights also receive new LED DRLs, but Honda is not going to offer a LED set of headlights which is a real shame.

The car has been available in Europe with just a single engine choice, a 1.3 liter naturally aspirated inline-four petrol mill. This is good for 102 horsepower and 123 Nm of torque, enough for a city car but not nearly enough for motorway use. In Japan, on the other hand, the car has also been available with a 1.5-liter hybrid while in some other markets the Jazz is known to come with both a 1.5 liter naturally aspirated inline 4 or with a 1.5-liter diesel. The 2018 Honda Jazz is expected to extend the available range of engines in some markets. In Europe, the car may receive the 1.5-liter diesel which has been requested for a while. Honda may also decide to offer the hybrid, but this is still unclear at this point. Most models will still come with a six-speed manual gearbox which is actually one of the better choices in its class. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic will be available in some markets while most others will receive the CVT automatic. This is actually perfectly suited for the Jazz as it gives it more low-speed acceleration which is great during city driving.

 

2018 Honda Jazz  Release Date and Price

The new 2018 Honda Jazz was launched in Japan in June and is expected to be presented in the US in the second half of 2018, and the price will not stand far from the previous model and will start at about $15,000.Europe version will be presented in September at Frankfurt Auto Show while deliver will start in early 2018. In Thailand, the car will be priced at 5,55,000 baht (INR 10,43,228.13). Honda is expecting this upcoming model to have great selling numbers.
